Still life is the basic genre in Andriaka Watercolor School. All main principles of the light-and-shade, the form creation, glares and reflections, and the composition are to be developed in the still life.

​Yes, it is scholastic. But, the impression power of the still life is great. The color palette of the still life is much more rich, than in landscape. The design must be followed with a great accuracy. Some of them "play" with the technique and the color, others - with the story.
